AREQUIPA TO CUSCO
We woke up earlyish, had breakfast and then went to the airport to catch our flight. It’s been nice having the World Cup going on – we could watch it at the airport. The airport is also made of sillar.
Jared was stoked to find that the in-seat magazine was for designers and fans. A very cool surprise.

The flight was fast and in an hour we were in Cusco! Q’ente, our awesome travel company for the Inca Trail, picked us up and took us to our hotel, Los Niños (more on that in the next post). We could immediately feel the altitude and even more, how cold it was at night. We went out for dinner, walked around the Plaza and decided to go to bed early.
