The Itinerary

First, the Travelers:
Jared: age 28, product designer, San Francisco, CA. Married to Michelle.
Michelle: age 26, marketing executive, San Francisco, CA. Married to Jared.
Jon: age 31, shoe designer, Long Beach, CA. Married to Anika.
Anika: age 25, clothing retailer and stylist, Long Beach, CA. Married to Jon.

So we wanted to go to Peru and definitely Machu Picchu, but what else? As soon as we found out about the Inca Trail, a four-day hike that leads to the famous city, we knew we had to do it. Then the other places fell into place... Lima, Nasca, Arequipa and of course, Cusco.

There's so much to do in Peru that it was difficult cutting out what we didn't have time to do. Floating on Lake Titicaca, seeing the Andean Condor in Colca Canyon, sandboarding Cerro Blanco... all cut. So were Northern Peru and the Amazon. There just wasn't enough time.

Below is our itinerary. Fifteen days. Five Cities. I wish we had more time!
